Huntington Landmark is an active adult community (55+) with fantastic amenities located within walking distance to the beach, grocery stores, downtown shopping, restaurants and pier in Huntington Beach, California. This friendly neighborhood community is known for its recreational facilities, active clubs, special programs and great events. This community is not an assisted living facility.
Huntington Landmark was built over a thirteen-year period in thirteen phases consisting of 1,238 one, two, and three bedroom condominiums with extensive recreational facilities and expansive greenbelts that give the community a park like setting. This residential neighborhood can boast having the lowest density of any residential neighborhood in Huntington Beach. Groups of walkers, joggers, and cyclists can be seen at all hours of the day enjoying the serenity of the surroundings.
Amenities include a main lounge for dinner dances and special events, two multi-purpose rooms, billiards room, library, ceramics room, a wood shop second-to-none, sewing room, art room, state-of-the art gym, a putting green, tennis courts, shuffle board courts, horse shoe pits, two pools & spas and much more. Residents enjoy a myriad of aquatic and aerobic exercise classes, educational classes, craft and art classes, luncheons, fashion shows, dinner dances, and pool parties at most major holiday. There are many active clubs for the resident’s enjoyment such as golf, singing, tennis, woodworking and toy making. The community also has a private, on-site RV lot to meet the needs of residents.
A seven (7) member Board serving two-year staggered terms governs the Association. Four members are elected in the odd years and three in the even years. Many active committees whose members are thanked each year at a recognition dinner assist the Board. These advisory committees include, but are not limited to, Architectural, Communications, Contracts, Election, Events, Finance, Landscape, Maintenance, and Property Protection along with other Ad-Hoc Committees.
An on-site General Manager, along with staff, tends to the day-to-day duties of the Association. The Community is gated both at the Atlanta and Indianapolis entrances. The Atlanta gate is staffed twenty-four hours with access control officers. In addition, the community has a daily roving Patrol Officer who assists with varied duties.
A monthly assessment of $480.00 (2018) includes water, trash, earthquake and flood insurance as well as the maintenance of common areas including landscaping. The Board has approved long-term plans for major repairs and replacements to our buildings and infrastructure. Adequate monies are being accumulated in the Reserve accounts to adequately finance those ongoing renovation projects. Our proactive approach to maintaining our community ensures it continues to be impeccably maintained.
